Bogota: City of the Lost

Unable to escape the consequences of the 1997 Asian financial crisis, 19-year-old Guk Hee moves to Bogota with his family, hoping for a better life, but ends up living from day to day in the San Andresito market. To survive in this unfamiliar land, Guk Hee starts working for Sergeant Park, who has power in the Korean Merchants Association. Catching Park's attention with his diligence, Guk Hee is tasked to participate in a clothing smuggling operation as part of a test. In the midst of a potentially deadly crisis where Colombian customs almost stops them, Guk Hee risks his life to protect Sergeant Park's goods, leaving a lasting impression not only on Park but also on Soo Yeong, a customs agent. Soon, Soo Yeong makes kooHee a dangerous proposition. Realizing that his decisions can change the landscape of the Korean community in Bogota, Guk Hee begins to yearn for even greater success.
