When the Phone Rings

Baek Sa Eon comes from a prestigious political family and became Korea's youngest presidential spokesperson. His experience also includes time spent as a war correspondent, hostage negotiator and chief anchor. He married Hong Hee Joo 3 years ago. She is the daughter of a newspaper owner and has mutism due to an accident she had as a child. She works as a sign language interpreter in court and on TV. Baek Sa Eon and Hong Hee Joo married largely for convenience. For the past 3 years, they have not communicated with each other or eaten together. They pretend they are a happily married couple. One day, Hong Hee Joo is kidnapped by an unidentified person. This changes their married life.
