Synopsis
The whirlwind fates of three people converge around the Gyeonggang River, where all of Joseon's money and goods pass through. Jang Shi-Yool is a good-for-nothing man, who hides his past. Choi Eun leads a commercial group. She is a person of principle and righteousness. Jung Cheon is an upright government official. He wants to get rid of corruption that exists around the Gyeonggang River. The river itself was once clean and blue, but has become a murky river reflecting Joseon that has now become lawless.
