Byeon Woo-seok Reportedly Buys ₩13 Billion Hannam The Hill Residence

Actor Byeon Woo-seok has reportedly become the latest celebrity owner at one of Seoul's most prestigious luxury residential complexes.
According to reports published in South Korea on September 10, the actor purchased a 235㎡ residence at Hannam The Hill in Hannam-dong, Seoul, for ₩13 billion (approximately US$9.7 million).
The purchase was reportedly made in May, with Byeon Woo-seok completing the remaining payment and officially transferring ownership of the property on September 2.
A ₩13 Billion Luxury Residence
The residence has an exclusive area of approximately 235 square meters, or around 2,530 square feet.
Reports indicate that no mortgage lien was registered on the property. Based on that, the purchase is believed to have been completed without a mortgage, leading to reports that Byeon Woo-seok effectively paid for the residence in cash.
However, the actor has not publicly commented on the purchase or its payment method, so the cash-payment detail should be regarded as an inference from the available property-registration information rather than a confirmed statement from the actor.
Hannam The Hill is one of Seoul's best-known high-end residential complexes. The development was built on the former site of Dankook University's Hannam-dong campus and has been home to numerous celebrities and prominent figures.
