‘100 Days of Deception’ Drops New Teaser

“I’ve liked you ever since the moment we met.”

That confession takes center stage in the new teaser for tvN’s upcoming historical spy romance 100 Days of Deception, starring Kim Yoo Jung and Park Jin Young.

The new footage gives viewers another glimpse at the complicated relationship between undercover agent Lee Ga Kyung and interpreter Kim Tae Woong, whose growing feelings develop alongside suspicion, secrets, and carefully maintained identities.

“What Is Your True Identity?”

Kim Yoo Jung stars as Lee Ga Kyung, a highly skilled pickpocket from Gyeongseong who becomes an undercover agent and infiltrates the Japanese Government-General of Korea by disguising herself as an interpreter trainee.

Her mission brings her into close contact with Kim Tae Woong, played by Park Jin Young.

Tae Woong is the adopted son of the Government-General's political affairs chief and an elite interpreter who is fluent in Korean, Japanese, and English. After returning to Korea following years abroad, he becomes increasingly suspicious of Ga Kyung.

The new teaser captures that tension as Tae Woong questions her motives:

“Why do you keep trying to get involved with me? What’s your true identity?”

Yet despite the suspicion between them, the relationship begins to move in another direction.

Ga Kyung's answer is unexpectedly direct:

“I like you. From the moment we first met.”

Romance Behind a Web of Lies

The new footage highlights the central contradiction of 100 Days of Deception: Ga Kyung and Tae Woong are drawn to each other while both have reasons to hide the truth.

Their relationship develops in the middle of Ga Kyung's dangerous undercover mission, forcing her to maintain her false identity while getting closer to the very people she has been sent to spy on.

The drama is set in 1932 Gyeongseong and combines espionage, romance, suspense, and historical drama. Ga Kyung's mission is connected to the independence movement, while Tae Woong's position places him on the opposite side of the conflict.

The newly released promotional material also emphasizes the growing chemistry between Kim Yoo Jung and Park Jin Young. A new poster released on September 10 shows Tae Woong approaching Ga Kyung while she cautiously steps back, accompanied by the line asking her to tell him something that is not a lie.

Watch the New Teaser

The latest teaser gives viewers a closer look at the romance developing between Ga Kyung and Tae Woong, while continuing to tease the secrets surrounding their true identities.

From suspicious encounters to a surprisingly sincere confession, the new footage suggests that their feelings could become just as dangerous as the secrets they are trying to protect.

When Does ‘100 Days of Deception’ Premiere?

100 Days of Deception will premiere on October 10, 2026, at 9:10 p.m. KST on tvN.

The series stars Kim Yoo Jung, Park Jin Young, Kim Hyun Joo, Lee Moo Saeng, and Jin Sun Kyu, with Yoo In Shik directing and Ryu Bo Ri writing the screenplay.

The drama will also be available globally on Netflix, with the series scheduled for 16 episodes.

As Ga Kyung and Tae Woong become increasingly entangled, the biggest question may be whether their growing feelings can survive the lies surrounding them.
