‘Dive Into You’ Opens With a Shocking First Episode

“Dive Into You” has officially premiered, opening its story with a dramatic tragedy, a time-slip, and a body swap that completely changes the fate of its main characters.

The Channel A drama, starring Kim Ji Yeon (Bona) and Park Seo Ham, premiered on September 26 at 10:30 p.m. KST and is also available globally through Disney+ and Rakuten Viki.

The first episode recorded a 0.3% nationwide rating, according to the report published after the premiere. The debut also marked Kim Ji Yeon’s return to dramas roughly a year and three months after Head Over Heels, which reached a peak rating of 11%.

A First Episode Filled With Tragedy

The story begins with top actress Yoon Ha Na still carrying feelings for her first love, Jung Woo Jae, who has remained by her side as her bodyguard.

Their relationship takes a devastating turn when a stalker attacks Ha Na. Woo Jae steps in to protect her and is fatally injured by the attacker.

Before his death, a letter he left for Ha Na reveals just how deeply he cared for her, making his loss even more painful for her.

Back to 2010

After Woo Jae’s death, Ha Na and her twin brother Yoon Ha Ru become involved in an accident while returning from the funeral. The incident leads them back to 2010, when Woo Jae is still alive and is an 18-year-old aspiring judo athlete.

Ha Na is overwhelmed when she sees her first love alive again and immediately embraces him, leaving the younger Woo Jae completely confused.

But the time-slip comes with another unexpected twist: Ha Na and Ha Ru have also swapped bodies.

A Second Chance to Change the Past

Now trapped in her twin brother’s body and reunited with the first love she lost, Ha Na has the chance to confront the past and potentially change Woo Jae’s fate.

The first episode wastes little time setting up the drama's central mystery and emotional stakes. With Woo Jae’s death, the journey to 2010, and the twins’ body swap all happening from the very beginning, the main story is now ready to unfold.

“Dive Into You” airs on Saturdays and Sundays, with new episodes continuing on Channel A and its global streaming platforms.
