The upcoming crime thriller Project Y — starring Han So-hee and Jeon Jong-seo — will hit theaters on January 21, 2026. The film follows two friends, Mi-seon and Do-kyung — trapped in a dead-end existence — who decide to steal a hidden stash of 8 billion won worth of gold bars and dirty cash to escape their harsh reality. With a gritty backdrop set in the underbelly of Seoul’s Gangnam district, “Project Y” explores loyalty, desperation, and the extreme choices people make when there’s nothing left to lose.
