Kim Hye Joon is reportedly set to star alongside Kang Ha Neul in MBC's upcoming drama Mind Doctor (working title), adding another highly anticipated project to her growing lineup.
Based on a popular web novel, Mind Doctor follows a brilliant surgeon who loses his emotions after a shocking incident and leaves everything behind to begin a new chapter working in a psychiatry department. Kang Ha Neul has already been linked to the lead role of Lee Si Chan, while Kim Hye Joon is expected to portray a psychiatrist who becomes an important part of his journey.
The project would mark the first time Kim Hye Joon and Kang Ha Neul share the screen, as well as Kim Hye Joon's first full-fledged medical drama. Likewise, it would also be Kang Ha Neul's first medical series, making their pairing one of the drama's biggest highlights.
Kim Hye Joon continues her busy schedule after starring in Netflix's global hit Cashhero, with Disney+'s A Shop for Killers Season 2 set to premiere soon and tvN's Favorite Employee arriving in August. Meanwhile, Mind Doctor is currently targeting a 2027 premiere on MBC.
