Park Bo Young and Son Suk Ku Reportedly Team Up for Fantasy Rom-Com Film If I'm With You

A fresh and exciting pairing could soon be heading to the big screen. According to an exclusive report, Park Bo Young and Son Suk Ku are set to star together in the upcoming fantasy romantic comedy film If I'm With You (working title), directed by Kang Hyoung Chul.

The film is said to tell the story of Korean and international characters whose lives become intertwined aboard a cruise ship, blending romance, fantasy, and comedy into a unique adventure. The project comes from Kang Hyoung Chul, the acclaimed director behind hits including Scandal Makers, Sunny, Tazza: The Hidden Card, Swing Kids, and Hi-Five.

One of the most meaningful aspects of the project is Park Bo Young's reunion with Kang Hyoung Chul 18 years after Scandal Makers. Released in 2008, the blockbuster became both the director's feature debut and Park Bo Young's breakout hit, launching her into stardom.

The film would also mark the first-ever collaboration between Park Bo Young and Son Suk Ku. While Son Suk Ku is widely recognized for his charismatic performances in projects like The Roundup, My Liberation Notes, D.P., and A Killer Paradox, this fantasy rom-com promises to showcase a completely different side of the actor alongside one of Korea's most beloved rom-com actresses.
