Jeon So Nee Reportedly Joins Lee Do Hyun in Action Drama Destroyer of Destruction

Jeon So Nee is reportedly set to star alongside Lee Do Hyun in the upcoming action drama Destroyer of Destruction (literal title), with the actress currently in the final stages of casting negotiations. The report comes just weeks after Lee Do Hyun was revealed to be in talks for the male lead, making this a potentially exciting new pairing.

Based on the original report from TenAsia, Destroyer of Destruction follows an elite hitman who spent 10 years working for organized crime before being assigned to a police witness protection unit, where he begins protecting victims using his own unconventional methods. The series will be directed by Shin Kyung Soo, known for Six Flying Dragons, The Nokdu Flower, and The First Responders. It is being jointly produced by AStory and Shining Park

If confirmed, Lee Do Hyun will play the former ace killer, while Jeon So Nee has been offered the role of a police officer specializing in protecting victims from the Women and Juvenile Division. The project would also mark Lee Do Hyun's first drama following the completion of his military service, making it one of the most anticipated action series currently in development.

Jeon So Nee has continued building a diverse résumé through projects including Parasyte: The Grey, Soulmate, and As You Stood By, while Lee Do Hyun is preparing for a busy return to the screen after wrapping his first post-military project. If both actors officially sign on, Destroyer of Destruction will bring together two of Korea's most respected performers in what promises to be a high-stakes action thriller.
