New character details have been unveiled for KBS's upcoming fantasy romance Love Cloud, offering a closer look at the chemistry between Song Joong Ki and Park Ji Hyun ahead of the drama's 2027 premiere.
Set on Jeju Island, Love Cloud follows Kang Woo Joo (Song Joong Ki), a former flight instructor who now works as an air traffic controller, and Ahn Ha Nee (Park Ji Hyun), a talented pilot cursed with the ability to change the weather according to her emotions. When the former lovers unexpectedly reunite, their unresolved feelings begin to stir once again—along with the skies above them.
Song Joong Ki described the script's unique premise as what immediately drew him to the project, saying that the idea of Ahn Ha Nee's emotions being connected to clouds felt especially fascinating. He also shared his excitement about reuniting with Park Ji Hyun, expressing confidence that they will create great on-screen chemistry together.
Park Ji Hyun revealed that she laughed, cried, and became completely immersed while reading the script, adding that she hopes Ahn Ha Nee's journey will deliver heartfelt excitement to viewers. The drama marks another highly anticipated collaboration for Song Joong Ki, who returns to KBS in a romantic comedy for the first time since Descendants of the Sun. Love Cloud is currently scheduled to premiere in 2027.
