

Biography
Born on April 17, 1982, in Busan, South Korea, Lee Joon-gi initially aspired to be a professional basketball player. However, an injury led him to explore the performing arts, and he began his career as a model in 2001. He gained widespread recognition for his role in the film The King and the Clown (2005), which propelled him into the spotlight. Following this success, he starred in the television series My Girl (2005–2006), further solidifying his popularity. Lee Joon-gi has since appeared in numerous dramas and films, including Iljimae (2008), Arang and the Magistrate (2012), Two Weeks (2013), Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo (2016), and Lawless Lawyer (2018). His dedication to his roles and his ability to portray a wide range of characters have earned him critical acclaim and a dedicated fan base. In addition to his acting career, he has pursued music, releasing several singles and albums. Lee Joon-gi completed his mandatory military service from May 2010 to February 2012.
