Jin Yi Han

Biography

Jin Yi Han, born as Kim Hyun Joong in Gyeonsangbuk-do, is a South Korean actor, musical actor and singer. In 1998, he enlisted in the army, and has been an active-duty military entertainer. After graduating from the Seoul Institute of Arts of Visual Design, he made his debut as a musical actor in the 2002 musical UFO, a non verbal performance work. Through a public audition in 2007, he was selected to play the lead in the KBS costume drama "Conspiracy in the Court", and became well known for his impressive performance. In 2013, his popularity soared higher with his supporting role in the 2013 MBC drama "Empress Ki" which recorded the highest viewership rating of 32.4%.
