Biography

Jeon Do Yeon is a South Korean actress. She has won many awards in her career, including the best actress at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival for her portrayal of a broken woman who has lost everything in Lee Chang Dong's "Secret Sunshine". She made her film debut in "The Contact". She also won the Best Leading Actress in Film category at the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards for her role in "Revolver". She married businessman Kang Shi Gyu in a private wedding ceremony at Shilla Hotel on March 11, 2007. She gave birth to a daughter on January 22, 2009.
