Son Ye-jin is a South Korean film and television actress,[2] known for her performances in the films and series The Classic (2003), Scent of Summer (2003), A Moment to Remember (2004), April Snow (2005), among others. She has gained critical acclaim for her versatility in acting in various genres, especially for her performances in Alone in Love (2006), My Wife Got Married (2008), The Pirates (2014), The Truth Beneath and The Last Princess (both 2016), Someting in the rain (2018), with her latest performance being in the series Emergency Landing in Your Heart (2019-2020), which in its final episode had one of the highest ratings in Korea. On January 1, 2021, her agency confirmed that she had been dating actor Hyun Bin for eight months. In February 2022, the couple announced that they were engaged.
