Bae Jong-Ok

Biography

Bae Jong Ok, born in Seoul, South Korea, is an actress under J, Wide-Company (제이와이드컴퍼니). After she was recruited by KBS in the eighties, Jong Ok made her TV acting debut and has since been active in both film and television. While maintaining an acting career, Jong Ok completed a doctorate at Korea University's School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Her thesis was on the correlation between production crews and the reactions of netizens. She has taught theatre and film studies at Chung-Ang University as a visiting professor since 2003. In 1994, Jong Ok married a pilot before divorcing in 1996. She has one daughter. Source: MyDramaList
