Kwak Sun Young is a South Korean actress under Blossom Entertainment. She graduated from Dongguk University. She began her career in musical theater in 2006, appearing in various productions such as "Dalgona," "Notre-Dame de Paris," and "Singin' in the Rain." Despite her extensive work in theater, it wasn't until 2018 that she made her television debut, significantly boosting her popularity. Her breakthrough role came in the drama "Hospital Playlist". Her relatively late breakthrough in television can be attributed to her focus on theater and personal life. After marrying in 2015 and giving birth to a son in 2016, she took a brief hiatus from acting. She resumed her career with renewed vigor in 2017, starring in the musical "Sweeney Todd."
