Kim Mi-kyung is a veteran South Korean actress born on October 14, 1963. She began her career in theater in 1985 and has since become one of the most prolific and beloved supporting actresses in the television and film industry. She is widely known for her roles as a kind and supportive mother, earning her the nickname "Korea's Mother." She has appeared in a vast number of popular dramas, often playing the mother of the main character, in series such as "The Heirs" (2013), "Healer" (2014), and "It's Okay to Not Be Okay" (2020). She has also showcased her versatility in other roles, including in the dramas "Her Private Life" (2019), "Hi Bye, Mama!" (2020), and "Welcome to Samdal-ri" (2023).
