Biography

Ji Hyun-woo, born Joo Hyung-tae, is a South Korean actor and musician born on November 29, 1984. He first gained fame as the guitarist for the rock band The Nuts before making his acting debut in 2003. He is known for his roles in romantic dramas. His breakout role came in the 2012 hit series "Queen and I", which cemented his status as a romantic lead. He has since starred in other popular dramas, including "Trot Lovers" (2014) and "Young Lady and Gentleman" (2021), for which he won a Grand Prize (Daesang). He also continues to pursue his music career, releasing solo albums and performing with his band.
