Biography

Hong Jong-hyun is a South Korean actor and model born on February 2, 1990. He began his career as a model in 2007 and was a well-known figure on the runway before transitioning into acting. He first gained attention for his supporting roles in dramas like "Jeon Woo-chi" (2012) and "Dating Agency: Cyrano" (2013). His breakout role came in the historical drama "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" (2016), where his portrayal of the third prince Wang Yo earned him a significant increase in popularity. He has since taken on leading roles in various genres, including the romantic drama "The King in Love" (2017) and the mystery thriller "My Absolute Boyfriend" (2019). He has also appeared in the film "Alice: Boy from Wonderland" (2015).
