Biography
Lee Sung Jae is a South Korean actor. He graduated from Osan High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Theater and Film from Dongguk University. He made his debut in 1995 as part of the 24th open recruitment for talent at MBC. He began earning some recognition for his role in the 1998 KBS drama "The Lie". Later that year, he appeared in the movie "Art Museum by the Zoo" and swept all the rookie awards at the film festivals. He has also shocked audiences with his intense portrayal of a villain in "Public Enemy" and later in "Gu Family Book", even suffering from severe stress after all the negative feedback for both characters. He has also appeared in several variety shows in an attempt to showcase his real personality on TV. He is represented by Koom Entertainment (쿰엔터테인먼트). Source: MyDramaList
