Biography
Cho Mi Yeon is a South Korean singer, dancer, actress and member of I-DLE (아이들, formerly known as (G)-IDLE). She did not attend high school but later passed the High School Graduation Certification Examination. She then obtained a bachelor's degree in Entertainment Studies from International Cyber University. She was originally a trainee at YG Entertainment and was a potential candidate to debut with BLACKPINK. However, she was not chosen as part of the lineup, and after 5 years with the company, she left in mid-2015. After joining CUBE Entertainment (큐브엔터테인먼트), she trained for one more year and was part of URBAN ZAKAPA's tour, appearing in Canada in 2016. She made her debut in May 2018 as G-IDLE's main vocalist and visual with their first mini-album, "I Am". Then, in October of that year, she performed at the League of Legends World Finals Opening Ceremony and voiced the well-known character Ahri in the virtual K-pop girl group K/DA.
