Biography
Choe Chan Yi is a South Korean singer, actor, model, dancer, and former member of THE MAN BLK (더 맨 블랙). He first appeared on TV as a contestant in the survival show "Boys24" but, as part of Unit Green, was eliminated. He made his debut in November 2018 as the group's lead vocalist with their first mini-album, "Various Colors". Na Byung Jun, the founder and former co-CEO of Fantagio, created a new agency, Stardium (스타디움), and decided to form a new boy group where all members were seen as "multi-tainers". While it was an intriguing concept at first, the agency could not promote them adequately. So, in March 2021, he decided to leave the group. He enlisted for his mandatory military service on August 2, 2022, and was discharged on February 1, 2024. He is not represented by any agency.
