Biography

Kim Woo-bin is a South Korean model-turned-actor who debuted as a runway model in 2009 before moving into acting with White Christmas (2011). He rose to fame with School 2013 and The Heirs, later starring in films like Friend: The Great Legacy, Twenty, and Master. Known for his tall frame and charismatic presence, he became one of Korea’s most recognizable leading men. In 2017 he was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer, taking a hiatus to undergo treatment, and successfully returned with Our Blues (2022), Black Knight (2023), and the film Alienoid. He is admired for his resilience, versatility across romance and action, and his long-term relationship with actress Shin Min-a.
