

Biography
Lee Sang-yi is a South Korean actor, musical performer and singer who studied Drama at Korea National University of Arts and began his career in musical theater around 2013 before moving into screen acting. He made his television debut in 2017 with small recurring roles in Manhole and Prison Playbook, gradually gaining more prominent parts. His breakthrough came in Once Again (2020) where he played Yoon Jae-seok and won Best New Actor at the KBS Drama Awards, followed by key roles in Youth of May (2021) and Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha (2021). He is also a member of the vocal group sub-unit JSDK under MSG Wannabe and has contributed to OSTs for dramas he stars in. Known for a warm, expressive performance style, his height (about 182-183 cm) and musical background add versatility to his acting. Lee Sang-yi continues to rise in popularity with lead or stronger supporting roles, often praised for his chemistry with co-stars and ability to carry both emotional and lighthearted scenes.
