Biography

Jo Seung-Yeon is a South Korean actor and musical performer born on April 14, 1972. He began his career in theater and has since appeared in various films and television dramas. Notably, he featured in Train to Busan (2016), Rampant (2018), and The Pirates (2014). In 2025, he portrayed Shim Mak-Jin in the historical fantasy drama Bon Appétit, Your Majesty (tvN). Jo is recognized for his versatility and expressive performances across genres. He is represented by the agency Chyu Kwang-Hyun and continues to contribute to the South Korean entertainment industry.
