Biography

Kang Shin-il is a South Korean actor who graduated from Kyung Hee University with a degree in Electronic Engineering before turning his focus to acting through theater in Daehangno, where he formed the troupe Testimony He made his screen debut in 1985 in Chilsu and Mansu and went on to appear in the film version in 1988, gaining a reputation for strong supporting roles in both movies and television, including in the Public Enemy series He’s also known for his stage work, in plays like Kimchigook Goes Crazy and Chronicles of Han In 2007 he was diagnosed with liver cancer, underwent treatment and recovered, returning to acting afterwards Known for his reliability as a supporting actor who brings depth and authority to his roles, he continues to act actively through both screen and stage even decades into his career, represented by Starvillage Entertainment.
