Biography

Choi Moo-sung, born Choi Myung-soo on January 12, 1968, in Busan, South Korea, is a versatile actor renowned for his compelling performances in both television and film. He began his acting career later than most, making his film debut at the age of 34 in Birth of a Man (2002). In television, Choi gained widespread recognition for his role as Yoon Deok-man, the supportive weightlifting coach, in the popular drama Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo (2016–2017). He has also delivered notable performances in series such as Reply 1988 (2015–2016), Empress Ki (2013–2014), and Mr. Sunshine (2018)
