Biography

Born on December 15, 1972 in Seoul, Lee began his career as a model, but soon his charisma and talent led him to the world of acting. His big break came in 1994 with the Korean drama Feelings, quickly establishing himself as a leading figure in South Korean television and film. Although his rise was constant, his international fame skyrocketed with the role of Seong Gi-hun, the protagonist of the hit Netflix series Squid Game, which catapulted him to the level of global icon in 2021.
