Biography

Kim Eui-sung, born December 17, 1965, in Seoul, is a veteran South Korean actor who began his acting career on stage before transitioning to screen work. He graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in Business Administration and was active in theater troupes from the late 1980s. He first gained public attention through films such as The Day a Pig Fell into the Well (1996), Office (2015), The Exclusive: Beat the Devil’s Tattoo (2015), and Train to Busan (2016). In television, he’s known for strong supporting roles in dramas like W (2016) and Taxi Driver (2021–present). Kim Eui-sung is praised for his versatility and gravitas, able to deliver memorable performances both in film and TV.
