In July 2017, he joined the recurring cast of the series School 2017, where he played the student Won Byung-goo, the clueless friend of Hyun Tae-woon who is often seen drinking strawberry milk. In December of the same year, he joined the recurring cast of the series Jugglers, where he brought to life Jwa Tae-yi, the younger brother of Jwa Yoon-yi (Baek Jin-hee), a young man who has multiple jobs and is always anxious. In July 2018, he made two special appearances in the series Life on Mars, where he played psychiatric patient Oh Young-soo, aka “E.T.” as a young man. On July 21, 2019, he made an appearance in the fourth episode of the series Hotel Del Luna where he brought a baker to life.
