Kim Jae-hwa, born September 1, 1980 in Seoul, is a South Korean actress known for her late-start rise in both film and television. She made her acting debut in 2009 in the movie Harmony and gained wider recognition for portraying Chinese table-tennis champion Deng Yaping in the 2012 film As One. Since then, she has appeared in many notable works including Sinkhole, Kill Boksoon, Door Lock, Escape from Mogadishu, The Judge from Hell, and Microhabitat.
