Biography
Lee Shin-young was born on January 24, 1998, in Chilgok County, North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea. He is represented by Forest Entertainment and made his acting debut in 2018 in the web series Just One Bite. He gained wide recognition for his role in the hit drama Crash Landing on You (2019–2020) and went on to star in How to Buy a Friend (2020), Rookie Cops (2022), Dr. Romantic 3 (2023), CEO-dol Mart (2023), and Captivating the King (2024). His strong performances earned him the Best Actor in a One-Act/Special/Short Drama at the 2020 KBS Drama Awards and the Best New Actor award at the 2023 SBS Drama Awards. Known for his calm charisma and natural acting, he continues to be recognized as one of the most promising young actors in Korea. He stands about 180 cm tall.
