Choi Bo-min, born on August 24, 2000, in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, is a multifaceted entertainer known for his work as a singer, actor, and television host. He gained prominence as a member of the K-pop group Golden Child, where he served as the lead dancer, vocalist, and visual. He debuted with the group on August 28, 2017, with their first EP, "Gol-cha!" In 2019, he expanded his career into acting with a leading role in the web drama A-Teen 2, which significantly boosted his popularity. Following this, he hosted the KBS music program Music Bank alongside actress Shin Ye-eun from July 2019 to July 2020. Choi also appeared in dramas such as Melting Me Softly (2019), 18 Again (2020), and Shadow Beauty (2021). In 2024, he received the Potential Award at the Asia Artist Awards for his role in Ghost Train, affirming his status as a rising star in the entertainment industry.
