Biography
Kwon So-hyun, born on January 29, 1987, in Andong, North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea, is a versatile actress known for her work in both musical theater and film. She began her acting career in 2007 with the musical Beautiful Game and won Best New Actress at the Daegu International Musical Festival in 2010. Her breakthrough in film came in 2015 with her leading role in Madonna, directed by Shin Su-won, which earned her the Best New Actress award at the 35th Korean Association of Film Critics Awards and the 3rd Wildflower Film Awards. She continued to build her filmography with notable roles in Miss Baek (2018), Dark Figure of Crime (2018), Pray (2020), and Sinkhole (2021). In television, she has appeared in Black Dog: Being A Teacher (2019–2020), Mine (2021), and The Veil (2021). In 2022, she signed with J Flex Entertainment. Kwon So-hyun is recognized for her compelling performances and has received critical acclaim for her work in both film and television.
