Biography

Kang Hye-won, born on July 5, 1999, in Yangsan, South Korea, is a South Korean actress and former K-pop idol. She gained prominence as a member of the South Korean–Japanese girl group IZ*ONE, formed through Mnet's 2018 reality competition show Produce 48. Following the group's disbandment in 2021, Kang transitioned into acting and has since appeared in various television dramas, including Boyhood (2023), Friendly Rivalry (2025), and Oh My Ghost Clients (2025). Her performances have earned her recognition, including nominations for Best New Actress at the APAN Star Awards and Korea Drama Awards in 2024. Kang is currently signed under PEACE Entertainment and continues to pursue her career in acting.
