Kim Yoo-mi

Biography

Kim Yoo-mi was born on October 12, 1979 in Yangyang, Gangwon Province, South Korea. She studied Broadcasting at Seoul Institute of the Arts and made her acting debut in 1999, officially breaking into television around 2000 with dramas like SWAT Police and Wrath of an Angel. She won the New Star Award at the 2000 SBS Drama Awards for those early roles. Over her career she has appeared in many films including Phone (2002), The Doll Master (2004), The Windmill Palm Grove (2005), Black Gospel and Red Family (both 2013), as well as TV series such as Heartless City, Romance Is a Bonus Book, Hello, Me!, The Killing Vote, and See You in My 19th Life. She is married to actor Jung Woo (since 2016), and is represented by Khan Enterprise.
