Biography

Jang Hyun-sung (장현성), born on July 17, 1970, in Geoje, South Gyeongsang Province, South Korea, is a distinguished actor celebrated for his versatile performances across television, film, and theater. He graduated in Theater from the Seoul Institute of the Arts and began his career as a member of the Hakjeon Theatre Company, which has produced several prominent actors. Jang gained recognition for his roles in arthouse films such as Feathers in the Wind (2005), Spider Forest (2004), and The Magicians (2006), with one review praising him for giving "the performance of his career" in Feathers in the Wind.
