Nam Myung-ryul (남명렬), born on May 14, 1959, in South Korea, is a distinguished actor renowned for his extensive work in theater, television, and film. He embarked on his acting career in 1978 and has since become a prominent figure in the South Korean entertainment industry. Nam's remarkable talent has earned him numerous accolades, including the prestigious acting award at the 50th Dong-A Theater Awards in 2014 for his outstanding performance in the play "Alibi Chronicles." Further recognizing his contributions to Korean culture, he was honored with a presidential commendation during the 2020 South Korean Culture Day by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
