Choi Jung-woo (최정우), born on February 17, 1957, was a distinguished South Korean actor whose career spanned nearly five decades. He began his acting journey in 1975 with the stage play The Life of an Actor and later worked with the theater company Shinsi. Transitioning into television and film, Choi became renowned for his compelling supporting roles in a diverse array of dramas and films, including The Tale of Lady Ok, City Hunter, Doctor Stranger, The Legend of the Blue Sea, and Sisyphus: The Myth. He continued to work actively in the industry until his passing on May 27, 2025, at the age of 68
