Kim Byeong-ok (김병옥), born on October 11, 1960, in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, is a veteran actor renowned for his compelling supporting roles in both television and film. He graduated from the Seoul Institute of the Arts, majoring in Theater. Kim's acting career spans several decades, with notable performances in acclaimed films such as Oldboy (2003), Lady Vengeance (2005), and New World (2013). In addition to his film work, he has appeared in popular television dramas including My Secret Terrius (2018), What's Wrong with Secretary Kim? (2018), and Show Window: The Queen's House (2021–2022). His portrayal of complex characters has earned him recognition and accolades, including the Bonsang (Main Prize) at the 2021 Scene Stealer Festival for his role in Show Window: The Queen's House.
