Kim Hye-soo (김혜수), born on September 5, 1970 in Busan, South Korea, is a veteran actress and public figure known for her strong, sophisticated roles and enduring presence in both film and television. She made her debut in 1986 with the film Ggambo and quickly rose to fame, winning Best New Actress at the Baeksang Arts Awards. Over the years she’s appeared in major works such as Tazza: The High Rollers (2006), The Thieves (2012), Signal (2016), Hyena (2020), Under the Queen’s Umbrella (2022), among many others, and has collected numerous awards including multiple Blue Dragon Best Actress awards.
