Biography
Lee Min-ho is a renowned South Korean actor and singer who gained international fame for his role as Gu Jun-pyo in the popular series Boys Over Flowers (2009). Born on June 22, 1987, in Seoul, South Korea, Lee originally aspired to become a footballer, but an injury in elementary school led him to pursue acting. He made his acting debut in the series Secret Campus (2006). Over the years, he has starred in hit dramas like City Hunter (2011), The Heirs (2013), The Legend of the Blue Sea (2016), and The King: Eternal Monarch (2020). In 2022, he starred in Pachinko, an Apple TV+ series based on the bestselling novel. Lee Min-ho has become one of the leading figures in the Hallyu wave, and in 2013, he became the first Korean actor to have a wax figure at Madame Tussauds, displayed in Shanghai, followed by Hong Kong in 2014.
