Biography
Choi Si Won is a South Korean singer, dancer, actor, and member of SUPER JUNIOR (슈퍼주니어). He graduated from Apgujeong High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Theater and Film and a master's degree and a Ph.D in Cultural Management, both from Inha University. He was recruited in 2002 after an SM Entertainment (SM엔터테인먼트) scout saw him on the street and asked him to apply (he hid the audition from his parents until he knew he had passed). Lee Soo Man wanted to create a versatile group with members who had experience in different fields (acting, dancing, presenting, etc.). He based his idea on the Japanese girl group MORNING MOSUME (モーニング娘), who debuted in 1997 and established a successful rotation of their lineup since then. He called his new group, SUPER JUNIOR 05. He made his debut as an actor with a brief appearance in the 2004 drama "Precious Family", and in 2005, he appeared in the KBS drama "Eighteen, Twenty-Nine".
