Biography
Cha Hak Yeon, also known professionally as N, is a South Korean singer, dancer, actor and member of VIXX (빅스). He graduated from Konkuk University Affiliated High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Musical Studies from Howon University and a master's degree in Performing Arts from Dankook University. He participated in Mnet's survival show "MyDOL" and was chosen via an elimination system through viewer votes. He made his debut in May 2012 (under stage name N) as VIXX's leader, main dancer and lead vocalist with their first single album, "Super Hero". The group is managed by Jellyfish Entertainment (젤리피쉬엔터테인먼트). He made his acting debut with a role in the 2014 MBC weekend drama, "Hotel King". He enlisted for his mandatory military service on March 4, 2019, and was discharged on October 7, 2020. Source: MyDramaList
