Biography

Shin Sung Rok is a South Korean actor managed by Y1 Entertainment. After his contract with Sangyoung Entertainment expired in December 2023, the actor worked as an independent artist until December 2024, when he signed with Y1. He frequently appears in films and television series but is better known and active in musical theater. He is considered one of Korea’s top musical theater stars, drawing audiences from all over Asia. He has a younger brother, Shin Jae Rok, who is a chef by profession. Both of them appeared on the KBS talk show "Happy Together". In June 2016, he married a non-celebrity office worker in Hawaii. In November the same year, he became a father to a baby girl.
