Biography
Wang Ji-hyun better known by her stage name Jun Ji-hyun, is a South Korean actress and model.Since 2012, she has been a member of the agency “Culture Depot”. She began her modeling career in 1997, and later appeared in numerous commercials. Her film debut was in White Valentine (1999). This was followed by a role in Il Mare (2000), in which the beautiful shots on Ganghwa Island proved to be one of the many factors contributing to the film's success. Her breakthrough came in My Sassy Girl (2001), a romantic comedy for which she won the “Best Actress Award” at the Daejong Film Festival in 2002. An American remake of Il Mare, The Lake House, was released on June 14, 2006. Since her debut as a model for Echo, Jun Ji-hyun modeled initially for many fashion companies and later in commercials for cell phones and cosmetics.
