During his run for National Assembly, Hyun Min-cheol suffered injuries to his lower body in a fire accident. Fifteen years later, he returns as the president-elect, appearing at the funeral home instead of the party headquarters.

Sooyeon is shocked by Mincheol's declaration of divorce. A clash erupts between Ji-yu and Hwajin over Hwajin's pendant, and the couple, meeting at the hospital, have a major argument.
