Baek Ji-won is a South Korean actress who studied Horticultural Science at Kyung Hee University and made her acting debut on stage in 1996 in My Father Has Cancer she later transitioned into TV and film, becoming known for roles in The Fiery Priest, Do You Like Brahms?, Once Again, Encounter, Racket Boys and Melancholia she excels in supporting roles and often plays mothers, mentors or other mature female characters, bringing depth and nuance to every performance she gets attention for her strong stage work as well, including the play Cherry Blossom Orchard she is represented by Lead Entertainment and continues to act steadily across genres, and recent projects include being cast in the sitcom Kick Kick Kick, portraying complex emotional roles.
