Lee Ji-eun, known professionally as IU, is a celebrated South Korean singer-songwriter and actress. Born on May 16, 1993, in Seoul, South Korea, she began her career at the age of 15 with the EP Lost and Found in 2008. Her breakthrough came with the 2010 single "Good Day," which topped South Korea's Gaon Digital Chart for five consecutive weeks. Over the years, IU has released numerous successful albums and singles, solidifying her status as a leading figure in the K-pop industry. Beyond music, she has showcased her acting talents in various television dramas and films.
